Following the tremendous success of their offline Rangoli Fest for PCOS Awareness, the NS Foundation, a frontrunner in women’s health advocacy, took a leap forward by hosting a captivating Online Rangoli Competition. This innovative initiative transcended geographical boundaries, allowing talented women across the country to participate and raise awareness about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) through the beauty of Rangoli art.
A Two-Month Campaign: Building Anticipation and Participation
The NS Foundation began promoting the online competition two months in advance, generating excitement and encouraging women to showcase their artistic talents. This strategic planning ensured a wider reach and fostered a sense of community among participants, united in their mission to raise awareness about PCOS.
A Virtual Canvas for Creativity: Unleashing Artistic Talent
The online format presented a unique opportunity for participants to express their understanding of PCOS in a captivating way. Unlike the offline event, this competition offered a choice of two surface sizes: 6×6 or 8×8, allowing for artistic freedom and catering to various skill levels. The competition timeframe was extended to 90 minutes, providing participants with ample time to create their masterpieces.

The competition witnessed an outpouring of creative talent. Each participant’s Rangoli offered a unique perspective on PCOS, sparking conversations about the condition and its impact. The NS Foundation acknowledged the top contenders with exciting prizes:
• 1st Place: Rajalakshmi Subbiah (Rs. 5,000 + Trophy + E-certificate)
• 2nd Place: Vijaya Lakshmi K (Rs. 4,000 + Trophy + E-certificate)
• 3rd Place: Mrs. Menaka (Rs. 3,000 + Trophy + E-certificate)
Additionally, all participants received participation certificates, acknowledging their valuable contribution to the campaign.
